Andrew Harris, RN

Andrew Harris, RN

Owner & Clinical Director

Houston native. Former Neuro ICU nurse at Houston Methodist. Charge Nurse, Barnes-Jewish.

“I’ve seen firsthand through my nursing career and my father’s recovery after a refinery accident how much families depend on great caregivers. We will give you the same care I once gave my father.”
Serhat Bolukbasi, CEO

Serhat Bolukbasi, MBA

CEO & Owner

MBA, Northwestern University · former BCG Principal.

“I’ve spent my career helping organizations perform better. There are few places where doing things better matters more than senior care. I chose this work because someday it’ll be my parents, and yours. I run it the way I’d want it run for my own mother.”
Care management

Your care manager is not a scheduler.
She is a former ICU nurse.

When something shifts at home, the caregiver flags it the same day. Your care manager reviews what's reported, calls the family, and loops in the physician when the situation calls for it. Caregivers observe and report. The Care Manager bridges what's seen at home with what the doctor needs to know.

Our services

What exceptional care actually gives a family.

Anyone can list tasks. What matters is what those tasks add up to, dignity, safety, and a home that still feels like home.

01

Dignity, every morning

Your parent starts each day clean, dressed, and themselves. (Bathing, dressing, grooming, personal care.)

02

Appetite & weight, protected

Favorite foods, eaten well, so nutrition holds and decline slows. (Meal planning & preparation.)

03

Medication reminders

Caregivers prompt scheduled doses, document what was taken (and what wasn't), and report anything off, refused doses, side effects, confusion, to the care manager, who follows up with the family or physician.

04

Fewer falls, more confidence

Moving safely through their own home, not afraid of it. (Transfers, mobility, fall prevention.)

05

Doctor visits & errands handled

Driven to appointments, the pharmacy, the grocery store, so they keep their independence. (Transportation.)

06

Loneliness, lifted

A familiar face and real conversation woven into the day. (Companionship & presence.)

Where are you right now?

Three ways families come to us.

Just home from hospital

You need care today.

A discharge can’t wait. We hold same-day capacity and can have a vetted caregiver at the door within 24 hours, often the same afternoon.

Same-day & post-hospital care →
Noticing gradual decline

Something’s changing.

Missed medications, a quieter parent, mail piling up. It may not be a crisis yet, and that’s exactly the right time to talk.

You have a long-term care insurance policy

Even if you’re not ready for care today.

You’ve paid premiums for years. We’ll review the policy, explain what it actually covers, and help you plan, no need to start care to start the conversation. When you are ready, we bill the carrier directly.

Long-term care insurance

It’s called Assignment of Benefits, we bill the carrier, handle the paperwork, and you pay nothing upfront. Almost no other Houston agency does this.

Frequently asked

The questions families ask first.

The full FAQ covers caregiver quality, reliability, pricing, dementia care, and more.

What makes Homewatch CareGivers of Houston Galleria different?

Most home care agencies simply send caregivers. We provide a complete experience for families. Every client is supported by a dedicated clinical care manager, highly experienced caregivers, owners who stay personally involved, and a team available 24/7. We're proud to be ranked the #1 home care agency in Houston and #7 in the United States by Home Care Pulse, based on independent client and caregiver satisfaction surveys.

How quickly can care start?

In most cases, the same day. Our team completes an assessment, builds a personalized care plan, and matches your loved one with a qualified caregiver, often within hours. Whether the need follows a hospitalization, a fall, or a sudden change in condition, we're built to move fast.

Do you specialize in dementia and Alzheimer's care?

Yes. Dementia care is one of our core specialties and represents the majority of clients we serve. Our care management team includes former Neuro ICU nurses from Houston Methodist with deep experience in Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, stroke recovery, and other complex neurological conditions. We focus not only on safety, but on dignity, engagement, and quality of life.

How do you ensure the quality of your caregivers?

Exceptional care starts with exceptional caregivers. We hire only a small percentage of applicants, and we look for professionals who treat caregiving as a career, not a temporary job. Through competitive pay, benefits, ongoing training, and strong clinical support, we attract and keep some of Houston's most experienced caregivers. Many have spent a decade or more caring for older adults.

Who oversees my loved one's care?

Every client is assigned a dedicated clinical care manager, not a scheduler or a call center. Your care manager stays actively involved from day one, overseeing quality, conducting ongoing assessments, coordinating with your family, and adjusting the plan as your loved one's needs change.

Do you accept long-term care insurance?

Yes. We help families understand their policies, file claims, track elimination periods, and in many cases bill insurers directly. We also offer complimentary policy reviews so you can make the most of the benefits you've already paid for.

What happens if my caregiver can't make a shift?

We keep a backup plan for every client. If a caregiver becomes unavailable, we coordinate a qualified replacement right away so care continues without interruption. Dependable, consistent support is the standard, not the exception.

How much does home care cost?

It depends on the level of care, the schedule, and the complexity of the situation. During a complimentary consultation, we'll talk through your needs, give you transparent pricing, and look at whether long-term care insurance can cover part of the cost.

Bringing in help isn’t giving up. It’s how you keep showing up.

Hiring a caregiver doesn’t replace family. It gives you the gift of being a daughter, son, or spouse again, and being present for the moments that matter most.

Simple from day one

Care begins in twenty-four hours.

No long intake. No waiting weeks.

01
We listen.

A Care Manager visits to understand the situation, routines, and family.

02

A care plan built around one person, their condition, routines, and dignity.

03

04
We stay close.

Take the first step

At home, as it should be.

You’ve read this far because someone you love needs care. The next step is simple: a private conversation with a Care Manager, not a coordinator, not a sales line.

Reply within two hours. After hours, our care team, the same people who manage your plan, picks up.
